The Book Award

Got the U.P. Writer of the Year award in Escanaba yesterday. Nice plaque. UPWA annual meeting yesterday. Had a good time. We really enjoyed seeing the Fall leaves in da U.P. on our way to the conference. Remind us to NEVER stay at that Travel Lodge again, and if Escanaba Travel Lodge is an indication of Travel Lodge in general, then we’ll never stay at one anywhere else. Noisy! Paper-thin walls, etc.
